H.A.R.T. is a volunteer rescue service, specialising in high access rescue in urban areas. We are a registered Scottish Charity run entirely by a core team of volunteers.
H.A.R.T. was set up in 1994 and has grown to a team of 16 highly committed volunteers who train weekly in Glasgow. Up to now, the team has financed most of the money required to keep the team operational – covering the costs of equipment, training and all other expenses.
We have now reached a crossroads in our operations, and have decided to expand our activities to a wider audience. H.A.R.T. is currently making provisions for a 24/7call-out service for High Access Rescue.
In order to meet our ambitious objectives of widening our target audience – to the Emergencey Service and industry – we will need to recruit and train more volunteers. As you will appreciate this is a highly technical area of expertise where equipment and training does not come cheaply. We would not wish to deter potential volunteers from joining our team simply because they are not in a financial position to buy their own equipment or pay for training.
We are looking for support to assist H.A.R.T. to meet our ambitious targets, but we realise that many organisations have restricted funds for sponsorship activities. That is why we have chosen sponsorship opportunities with a difference to organisations interested in community investment. We can tailor staff training to suit your organisation such as team building or safety management.
Why Not! Hop up a 45 metre Tower Crane, Skip along the 45 metre jib, Then Jump off and abseil 45 metres to the ground, EASY! One of the many ways the High Access Rescue Team can help with team building events, we feel that there is the real opportunity for working in partnership with various companies. We know that you need to justify your costs, and we feel that we can develop an appropriate strategy to ensure that you receive sufficient PR coverage. For this partnership to work it must be mutually beneficial.
H.A.R.T. also organises charity abseiling jumps, providing the location, the technical expertise, training and equipment. The opportunities for the team are vast.
Our volunteers give their time and expertise freely, and we welcome sponsorship and donations to help the team cover the costs for equipment and training.
If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please get in touch with the team.
