Experts raced into action to help the six animals stuck on a ledge 50ft off the ground.
The Scottish SPCA was alerted to the herd's plight and called in Trossachs Search and Rescue Team, Glasgow-based High Access Rescue Team and Lothian 4x4 Response.
And after an eight-hour mission the hero volunteers got the sheep to safety at Strathblane, Stirlingshire.
